2010 OOSOOLA DAY PARADE APPLICATION

2010 Tax Bills have been mailed out.  If you own property in Norridgewock and have not received your tax bill, please contact the Town Office to make sure we have your correct information.  The Town Manager, along with Selectmen, Budget Committee and Town Employees have worked hard at keeping costs down during these difficult economic times.  The Mil Rate this year is $21.00 per $1000.00 in evaluation, down from last years $21.30 per $1000.00.  However, if you have been receiving the States Homestead Exemption on your taxes, The exemption this year is $8000.00, down from $10,100.00 last year, so your tax bill will increase some because of that.  If you have owned and lived at your property for more than a year, and have not applied for the homestead exemption, stop by the office to get an application, or download it from this web site.  (Click on Link Below) This is not an income based program, it is a State exemption offered to all residents who have owned property for more than a year as of April 1 of each year.
